Elementary Homeschool Curriculum
Kindergarten Through 5th Grade
Newberry Academy provides a structured elementary homeschool curriculum
designed to help families teach with confidence.
Each grade builds on the previous year, helping students strengthen reading,
writing, math, and critical thinking skills while exploring science and history.
Parents can explore curriculum by grade
level and choose the subjects that best support their homeschool.
Subjects Included in the Elementary Curriculum
Each grade level includes core subjects designed to build strong academic foundations.
Language Arts
Reading, writing, phonics, grammar, and comprehension.
Math
Step-by-step instruction that strengthens number sense and problem solving.
Science
Lessons that encourage curiosity and understanding of the natural world.
History
Stories, people, and events that help students understand how the past shapes today.
Health
Health education is currently available for Kindergarten through 2nd grade,
with additional grades being developed.
Explore the Curriculum by Grade
Choose a grade level to explore available subjects and learn
more about the curriculum for that year.
Kindergarten
Complete early elementary foundation in reading, writing, math, science, and history.
1st Grade
Builds on kindergarten skills with expanded lessons in all core subjects.
2nd Grade
Developing stronger reading comprehension, writing skills, and math understanding.
3rd Grade
Expanding academic skills and encouraging deeper thinking across subjects.
4th Grade
Curriculum currently in development. Subjects will be added as they are completed.
5th Grade
Curriculum currently in development and will be released as subjects are finished.
Complete the School Year with a Bundle
Bundles combine the core subjects for one grade into a convenient package for homeschool families.
How the Curriculum Is Designed
The Newberry Academy elementary curriculum is designed to provide structure
while remaining simple for homeschool families to use.
Lessons build gradually so students can
develop confidence and mastery without feeling overwhelmed.
Parents can choose individual subjects or
complete grade bundles as they become available.
Growing Beyond Elementary
Newberry Academy is expanding into a
complete homeschool curriculum from preschool through high school.
Elementary grades are currently being developed, with middle school and
high school curriculum planned for the near future.
Our goal is to provide families with a
consistent learning path throughout a student’s education.
