Unless otherwise stated, Newberry Academy owns the copyright to its curriculum, worksheets, lessons, assessments, parent guides, digital products, printable resources, website content, graphics, and other original educational materials.

Purchase of a Newberry Academy product does not transfer copyright ownership to the purchaser.

Household Use

A Newberry Academy digital purchase is intended for use by the purchasing household.

✓ You may use the purchased curriculum with children living in your household.

✓ You may reuse purchased curriculum with younger children in the same household.

✓ You may print reasonable copies needed for children in your household.

✓ You may save your purchased digital files for your own household use.

Printing Digital Curriculum

Families who purchase digital curriculum may print the materials needed for their own household.

✓ Print pages at home.

✓ Use a local or online printing service to print your own purchased materials.

✓ Print additional working copies when reasonably needed for children in the purchasing household.

Printing permission does not include permission to distribute copies to other families, classrooms, groups, or organizations.

What Is Not Permitted

Newberry Academy digital files and copyrighted content may not be shared or redistributed outside the purchasing household.

✓ Do not email or send digital curriculum files to another household.

✓ Do not upload Newberry Academy files to shared drives, websites, forums, social media groups, or file-sharing services.

✓ Do not resell, redistribute, or give away purchased digital files.

✓ Do not make printed copies for another family, homeschool group, classroom, school, or organization.

✓ Do not remove Newberry Academy branding or present the material as your own work.

✓ Do not copy substantial portions of Newberry Academy curriculum into another curriculum, workbook, course, website, or commercial product.

Homeschool Co-ops, Groups & Classes

A standard household purchase does not provide a license for use by multiple unrelated families.

Homeschool co-ops, tutors, schools, learning groups, classrooms, and organizations should contact Newberry Academy before reproducing or using purchased materials with students from multiple households.

Printed Books

Purchasing a printed Newberry Academy book gives the purchaser ownership of that physical copy, but it does not transfer copyright ownership of the content.

✓ A purchased printed book may be used within your household.

✓ The physical book may be stored, used, or passed down among children in the same household.

The contents of a printed book may not be scanned, reproduced, uploaded, copied in substantial part, or distributed to other households.

Parent Guides & Answer Keys

Parent Guides, answer keys, teaching instructions, and related support materials are protected by the same copyright and household-use restrictions as student curriculum.

✓ They may be used by the purchasing parent or caregiver to teach children in the household.

✓ They may be printed when needed for household instructional use.

Parent Guides and answer keys may not be publicly posted, shared, sold, or distributed.

Free Resources

Free downloads and resources provided by Newberry Academy remain copyrighted unless specifically stated otherwise.

✓ You may download and use free resources for your own household.

✓ You may print them for children in your household.

Free does not mean public domain. Free resources may not be repackaged, sold, uploaded, or redistributed as another person’s or organization’s product.

Text, graphics, product descriptions, educational content, downloadable materials, and original images appearing on the Newberry Academy website are protected by applicable copyright laws unless otherwise indicated.
